VAC45

Calves vaccinated on cows prior to weaning or at weaning and boostered according to label instructions. Calves must be home raised and weaned a minimum of 45 days prior to delivery or shipping.

The vaccination requirements for the Vac 45 program are:

Pre-Weaning Option 1:

Calves vaccinated 2-6 weeks prior to weaning and at weaning with 2-6 weeks between vaccinations.

1. 2 doses Clostridial 7-Way .
2. 2 doses IBR-PI3-BVD-BRSV. The IBR and PI3 components must be chemically altered modified live or modified live with veterinarian’s approval (killed vaccine is not acceptable). The BVD and BRSV can either be modified live or killed.
3. Pasteurella Haemolytica with a leukotoxoid component and booster if required by label. Pasteurella multocida may also be given if you desire.
4. Parasiticide Optional.

Weaning Option 2:

Calves vaccinated at weaning and 2-6 weeks postweaning with the second vaccination at least 14 days prior to resale.

1. 2 doses Clostridial 7-Way.
2. 2 doses IBR-PI3-BVD-BRSV. The IBR and PI3 components must be modified live or chemically altered modified live. The BVD and BRSV can be either modified live or killed.
3. Pasteurella Haemolytica with a leukotoxoid component and booster if required by label. Pasteurella multocida may also be given if you desire.
4. Parasiticide Optional.

At delivery, your representative will require you to sign a Program Compliance Affidavit located on the bottom portion of the buyers invoice. It will ask for information stating the vaccinations administered, brand name of the vaccine, date administered and injection site(s). Please record this information as you vaccinate, so that you can complete the affidavit on the day of delivery.
