Official Rules

1.  To apply for the scholarship, the young man or woman must:

• Be a graduating high school Senior in the spring of 2009.
  
• Be a son or daughter of a cattle producer who has purchased or sold cattle     
  “The Superior Way” between January 1, 2008 and April 30, 2009.
• Complete an application form.
• Write and submit an essay on:  “What are the benefits and effects of Superior Livestock Auction’s Advantage Programs?”
  • Source & Age Verification
  • NHTC (Non-Hormone Treated Cattle)
  • Owner Certified Natural
  • BVD-PI Free
  • Progressive Genetics
  • SelectVAC
• Essays are to be no longer than five pages, double spaced.

2.  Applications may be obtained from the Superior website at www.superiorlivestock.com  or by calling 800.422.2117.

3.  Applications including Essays must be postmarked no later than June 1, 2009
and to be mailed to:

4.  Scholarship applications and essays will be reviewed by a selected panel of individuals from Superior Livestock Auction.

5.  Funds will be given to the scholarship winner upon proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university.

6.  Superior Livestock Auction reserves the right to publish or use any portion of the  
winning essay.
